About the PositionPosition / Specialty : Nuclear Med Tech
Performs a variety of duties required to prepare patients and conduct diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations. Updates, logs, and performs Quality Control surveys for contamination of daily shipments of stock radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with NRC regulations. Performs radiologic examinations timely, accurately, and safely for radiologist interpretation. Assures the radiology suite and adjacent clinical and common areas are prepared to receive patients and visitors. Supports a culture of safety.

The scanner we are installing is the Symbia Pro.spectra Q3Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers
