About the Job
Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a travel nursing position in oncology/infusion. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and build your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Job Details:
• Shift: Days/8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, M-F, no weekends, holidays, or call
• Location: Various locations throughout the country
Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care services, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and healthy living practices
Qualifications:
• 1 year of experience working in oncology infusions
• Current Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy certification through the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
• Strong knowledge of Epic electronic medical record system
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
