Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in Vacaville, California. As a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit.
- Assess and evaluate patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current on best practices and evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Current CA RN license
- 1 year of recent experience (within the last 3 years) as a full-time equivalent RN
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- AWHONN and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
- 5 years of recent experience (must have occurred within the last 2 years) in Labor and Delivery is preferred
- 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years
- High Risk OB experience preferred
