Certifications Required: BLS
Certifications Preferred: telemetry, ACLS, peripheral IV placement
Nurse Patient Ratio by shift: 3-5 days, 4-6 nights Ancillary
Other: charge nurse 24/7 does not have patient
Days of Orientation: 1-2 precepted shifts in addition to time with educators prior to patient contact
