About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join our travel team for a 13-week assignment. As a Med Surg traveler, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized patient care according to their unique needs and medical conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications, perform lab tests, and interpret results as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
- Current Illinois RN license.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- American Heart Association (AHA) certifications preferred (ACLS, PALS, NIH).
