Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in telemetry monitoring and care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans for patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments, analyze data, and make informed decisions to ensure optimal patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Operate complex medical equipment, including electrocardiogram (ECG) machines and ventilators, while ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medication administration and vital signs, to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Active VA nursing license required.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience as an RN.
- At least 1 year of travel experience as a registered nurse.
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
- Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN), Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN), Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN), Electronic Health Record (EPIC), and Critical Care Course certifications preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- A minimum of 6 months of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
- Electronic Health Record (EHR) training in EPIC system preferred.
