- Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
- Trauma Level II Experience preferred

UNIT DETAILS:
- Ratios: 1:3
- Daily Census: 12
- Rooms/Beds: 12/12
- Patient Population: Adults - Geriatrics
- Unit Systems: Cerner, Pyxis, SBAR
- Shift: 3x12 Nights, 1845 - 0715
- Weekend REQ: Every Other Weekend REQ
- Float REQ: Within service line
- RTO Restrictions: 1 Request, must be on initial submittal
- Scrubs: Any color
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, and TNCC/TCAR (TNCC/TCAR can pend prior to start)
- Preferred: CPI or MAB
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Years of EXP REQ: 2 yrs
- First-timers accepted: Yes

Medications:
- Heparin protocols
- Manage cardiac drips - no titration
- Manage vasoactive drips - no titration
- PCA
- Titrate cardiac drips
Neurological/Psychiatric:
- CVA
- Pre/post neurosurgery
- Spinal cord injury/TBI
Orthopedics: Ortho trauma
Plastics: Surgical Drains
Respiratory/Thoracic:
- Care of Ventilated Patient
- Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
- External CPAP/BIPAP
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
- Interpretation of ABGs
- Nasal Cannula
- Non-invasive airway management
- Oxygen face masks
- Tracheostomy Management
