Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will consider 36hrs

Length: 13 or 26 weeks

Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift).

Requirements

• NE License
• 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)
• EPIC charting experience
• BLS
• ACLS, NIH, CPI preferred

• Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware).
• Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)

Medical Surgical/Telemetry 4th Floor – This unit is located at Bellevue Medical Center (16 mins away from Nebraska Medical Center’s main campus). This unit is a 36 bed medical surgical/telemety unit. The unit has a focus on the care of the medical surgical/telemetry population with an emphasis on the orthopedic patient population. Additional surgical specialties include: surgical oncology, general surgery, GYN surgery, and OMFS. The unit does accommodate telemetry monitoring.

Ratios are 1:5 days/1:6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1:7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware).

Medical Surgical/Telemetry RN

2 years of prior Telemetry experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital)

Drips are required on all floors

First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center)

BLS required

ACLS, NIH, CPI preferred

EPIC Charting Experience Required

Will float within scope to meet facility needs

Locals Accepted: NO (candidate must be more than 100 miles from facility)

Pending license accepted: Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out.

Weekend Requirement: Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift).

Scrubs: MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with the Nebraska Medicine logo printed on the back. Information on how to obtain Nebraska Medicine branded scrubs will be shared once traveler is confirmed. Facility also sells gray T-shirts that can be worn in their company store.

Parking: Professionals can obtain a parking permit (cost depends on the lot, but is approx. $55/month) or they can use daily rate parking ($3 to park for 20 hrs).
