Job Summary
This position is for a Registered Nurse to work in the Women and Children's Unit at Central Vermont Medical Center. The unit specializes in Labor and Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, and LDRP care, with approximately 300 deliveries per year.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in a Labor and Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, and LDRP setting.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective patient care.
- Participate in cross-training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- 1 year of clinical experience required.
- 1 year of experience in a Labor and Delivery, Newborn, Postpartum, and LDRP setting preferred.
- BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS) certifications preferred.
Work Environment
- 7a-7p/7p-7a rotation schedule.
- Every other weekend requirement.
- Yes, 2 – 12 hour call shifts in a rolling 2 pay period time frame.
- Occasional Med/Surg Overflow and Triage patients.

Compensation
