What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Team Member position at Epic Wings?
Epic Wings in Hemet is looking for cooks to join our team! We are located on 3667 W Florida Avenue in Hemet in the Target Shopping Center. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working.
As a cook, you would be responsible for completing various tasks such as but not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining fryers
- Cleaning and maintaining a cleanly work environment
- Cooking various types of chicken
- Saucing and plating various types of chicken
- Making various sauces and prepping chicken
- Basic math skills to keep track of chicken needed
- Work in a fast-paced and somewhat physically demanding work environment
- Follow basic food handler procedure to ensure food safety for all customers
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with supervisors and/or fellow employees
Other Responsibilities
*Set up workstations. *Cook dishes to business standards. *Follow health and safety guidelines. *Prepare ingredients for use during shift. *Shared responsibility for dish washing.
Qualifications
*Willing to learn. *Team Player. *Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils. *Strong attention to detail. *Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
Training is provided for those who have not worked in a kitchen but are willing to learn.
Starting at $17/hour plus tips. Based on experience and work ethic, can be raised to $20/hour plus tips.
18 years or older.
