Salary : Purpose :
This position is responsible for evaluating the extent of property damage, providing a complete and thorough estimate of repairs including photos, diagrams, and the properly signed authorizations and / or contracts. Additionally, assists in negotiations of contract amounts. This position is based in Atlanta, GA.
Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate and appropriately report the full extent of the damage
- Prepare scope of repairs including demolition, reconstruction, emergency services, and contents restoration
- Accurately estimate the quality of materials being replaced
- Organize the introductory meeting between the Customer and Construction Superintendent
- Assist the Operations and Customer Care Departments in problem resolution
- Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager in getting the project started
- Flexibility to react to emergencies after-hours and on the weekends
- Make every effort possible to obtain signed authorizations / contracts before sending the project to Operations
- Maintain and build business relationships with clients and departments within EPIC
- Assist project managers with creating / developing proper budgets for each project
- Provide any necessary instructions to the emergency service and construction department in writing before they commence work
