What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Epice - Nashville?
We are seeking an experienced and polished bartender to join our small team at Epice. Epice has been an establishment in the 12 south neighborhood for over 11 years. We are a small and strong team of industry professionals, and we're looking for someone who can sling drinks with grace while giving our guests a wonderful night on the bar.
The bartender is the anchor of our service at Epice, and therefore the standards for this position are high. Please only apply after reading the following.

Eligible candidates will display the following experience and skills:
3 years of service and bartending experience in upscale dining
Strong understanding of bar prep and inventory maintenance
At least 2 years of experience in service of Old world wines.
Warmth and professionalism with both guests and our team.
Ability to keep up with a busy cocktail well in addition to serving bar guests.
Excellent service coursing and eye for details.
Ability to understand & memorize menus - and walk guests through allergy restrictions with ease.
Ethics of quality and hard work. i.e. - be consistent, show up early, take no short cuts.
Zero ego. We work as a team and do whatever if takes to help one another and give our guests excellent service. The bartender will often be asked to wait tables on the floor as well.
