What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Development Intern position at Epicor Inc?
The Epicor internship is designed to provide college and early career candidates with real-world work experience. It is a paid, 15-week program that provides hands-on work experience in a professional setting for students exploring career options. The spring intern cohort will participate in a robust professional development curriculum, mentoring, and regular feedback from supervisors to facilitate professional growth.
As part of the Corporate Development team, you will be interfacing with all functions at Epicor, along with the chance to gain direct experience in the following areas :
Synthesize quantitative and qualitative data from various sources into a digestible format
Create deal deliverables that will be reviewed by our C-Suite and Board of Directors
Ad hoc analyses for special internal projects
Understand the dynamics of SaaS and the underlying drivers of cloud software businesses
Communicate with stakeholders across Epicor
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and maintain a growth mindset
Self-starter, able to work both independently and in a team setting
Analytical, results-driven, and have a solution-oriented approach
Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentations
Organizational, project management, and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (writing formulas, data manipulation, standard financial modeling, and PPT formatting)
Executive presence, capable of interacting with stakeholders with little oversight.
