What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Epicor?
Essential Responsibilities:
- Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and entering transactions.
- Prepare monthly standard and non-standard journal entries - analyze account information
- Participate in special projects and creation of ad hoc reports
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve variances
- Additional responsibilities may be included as needed
Requirement for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years accounting experience
- Reconcile Cash, Intercompany and other BS accounts.
- Forward thinking mindset with the ability to resolve problems and create efficiencies
- Ability to prioritize as needed to meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a team environment and cross functionally
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:
- Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Hands-on experience with ERP system and BI tools (Noetix, Tableau)
- Experience with large multi-national corporation, including multi-currency translations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
