JOB TITLE : Preventative Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT : Maintenance

SUPERVISOR : Joshua Dunn

COMPENSATION : HOURLY ($25-$32)

This position is for our Thornton, Colorado location. We are growing and need to expand our production. This position will evolve into a second shift or weekend position. Please be able to work an off shift or weekends as productions needs grow. We look forward to meeting you.

POSITION REPONSIBILITIES

Candidates will be expected to uphold and follow our core value of safety , always ensuring a secure and efficient work environment.
Will help refine and adhere to the organization's preventative maintenance program.
Support the maintenance needs of the organization by responding to equipment failures in a timely, efficient manner and achieve agreed upon metrics for maintenance downtime in production.
Responsible for aiding in the installation and maintenance of the facility and production equipment.
Required to work closely with other maintenance team members, QA, production, leadership, and production teams.
Report on all safety concerns and incidents. Include possible corrective actions.
Communicate effectively and professionally with production and leadership teams.
Execute work orders in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Help maintain hardware and parts to appropriate levels. Report inventory shortages to supervisor.
Follow organizational standards as it pertains to tool cleanliness and inventory.

JOB QUALITFICATIONS :

English (reading and writing), Basic Mathematics, Bi-Lingual (Spanish, reading and writing) highly preferred.

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

Ability to read and understand blueprints, parts breakdowns, schematics, and electrical prints preferred.

Goal oriented team player, reliable and punctual, resilient, empathetic, highly adaptive to change, positive attitude, interpersonal skills.

Must be able to follow all Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maintenance Manufacturing, Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) preferred

Safety protocol & Lockout Tagout knowledgeable.
