Mobile Advanced Diesel Technician (rotating schedule)

Overview

Managed Mobile is seeking an "Advanced Level" Technician with extensive experience in diagnosing and repairing medium/heavy-duty trucks. For our Dallas/Forth Worth location, we are looking for someone who can work a rotating schedule M-F - with weekends off to promote a work/life balance. Please only serious applicants. Here at Managed Mobile we specialize in diesel Tractor Trailer engine repairs such as Cummins, Detroits, International etc. If you have this experience and are open to a rotating schedule, we would love to speak with you! The chosen candidate will work independently from a fully equipped service vehicle, which includes a smartphone, computer diagnostic tools, air compressor, air welder/generator, A/C recovery machine, lifting and support equipment, safety gear, and all necessary supplies and parts to complete assigned tasks.The technician will carry out scheduled repairs with a strategic approach, following  industry best practices and adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures. Managed Mobile’s mission is to deliver Safe, Compliant, and Reliable fleets. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, along with preventative maintenance on medium and heavy-duty trucks covering all major vehicle systems including engines, drivetrains, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical components, and computer systems. 
• Trailer repair work will consist of PMs and minimal repair work when necessary.
• Equipment repair will consist of lift gates, and Power take off (PTO’s) along with some transmission units and hydraulic hoses.
• Operate a fully equipped mobile service vehicle to provide on-site services at customer locations.
• Adapt to various tasks throughout the day based on evolving business needs and priorities.
• Be available and flexible to work an average of 8-10 hours of overtime per week.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE: 

• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
• Must be able to pass drug and background checks
• Mobile Truck Technician experience – at least 2 years
• Skilled mastery in troubleshooting and computer diagnostics.
• Ability to weld is preferred
• Repairs on A/C recovery machine work is preferred
• Journeyman level repair experience on Class 6-8 diesel engines.
• Demonstrates a strong independent work ethic and a responsible, dependable character.
• Punctual, reliable, and maintains a positive attitude.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an advanced-level mechanic/technician.

Pay Range

USD $90,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
