We are actively seeking passionate and creative individuals who love the smell of baked goods as much as we do. We prefer those with food service experience, specially in a café setting. We have a staff diverse in age, gender, race, language, and class; all are welcome here.
We are looking for a teammate with about 15-20 hours of availability. Especially Sunday and Weekday afternoons.

Duties & Responsibilities
Provide friendly, consistent, and accurate customer service;
Prepare drinks for and create a positive atmosphere for our teammates and customers;
Display baked goods in cases;
Prepare pastries and churros for customers at point of service;
Prep chocolate for various uses;
Handle and diffuse customer or operational situations;
Maintain bar/kitchen equipment, wash dishware, and keep the kitchen clean;
Handle incoming customer calls and route them to the right team or teammate;
Clean your work area as well as bathrooms when needed;
Work with your Leads and Managers on cool new drink ideas and process improvement;
Work with the Operations Manager as needed to help keep teammates on track;
Handle elevated conversations with teammates that may include disciplinary topics;
Coach, train and mentor bar teammates when needed and coordinate training as needed for new teammates.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent;
At least 9 months of Barista experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with electronic cash registers, Microsoft operating systems, Microsoft Office software, and standard office equipment;
ServSafe Certified;
Fluent in Spanish a plus.

Working Conditions
Retail hours: Nights, weekends, early mornings and some holidays
Frequent need to lift at least fifty (50) pounds;
Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time;
Frequent need for oral, written and auditory communication;
Frequent mobility to move about the kitchen and chocolatería; and
Frequent repetitive hand and wrist motions.
