POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Assurance Associate is expected to provide assistance to the Manager of Quality Assurance for the development, implementation, and coordination of MEDXL’s Quality System to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products by performing necessary duties personally or through collaboration with other personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – including but not limited to:
- Monitor production processes to ensure that a process (all runs, lots, batches) conforms to its specifications
- Communicating with customers to ensure MedXL is meeting customer contract requirements
- Maintain inventory records
- Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Control review, approve and control documents and data that relate to the specifications, standards, and requirements of the Quality System
- Maintain a master list of documents under change control.
- Properly identify and store obsolete documents, retained for legal or reference use, to prevent unintended use
- Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of the CAPA/Complaint Handling Processes
- Coordinate CAPA reviews for timely closure
- Responsible for the process of assuring training requirements are met
- Ensures that other process owners are trained to perform jobs adequately and safely
- Establishes and ensures adherence to all company safety policies, rules, and regulations, and facilitates compliance as needed
- Ensures that all company policies and procedures are being trained to in a timely manner

Education and/or Experience:
- Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
