Job Summary :
Physician Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of patient care by providing medical, surgical, and cosmetic medical care under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide Excellent Patient Care : Ensure that patients receive high-quality care independently or under the supervision of a board-certified dermatologist.
- Coordinate Patient Care : Monitor and coordinate treatment with the Organization's clinical policies and guidelines.
- Document Patient Records : Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records that meet established clinical quality and compliance standards.
- Counsel Patients : Educate patients on therapeutic regimens and promote wellness and health maintenance.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment : Comply with infection-control policies and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to Regulatory Requirements : Meet federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by staying updated on existing and new legislation.
- Stay Current with Professional Knowledge : Attend educational workshops, review professional publications, and participate in professional societies to maintain technical knowledge.
- Education : Successful completion of a registered Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner education program.
- Licensure : Board certified and current unrestricted state PA or NP license is required.
- Experience : At least 2 years of experience in Dermatology specialty preferred.
- Certifications : CPR certification.
