What we are looking for :
A self-motivated, detail oriented, Senior Accountant to add to our already awesome team! The Senior Accountant will be instrumental in all month-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit processes all while ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely operations. The selected individual will be responsible for maintaining financial controls and confirming financial compliance through analysis and preparation of company’s reports and statements.
The ideal candidate will be totally comfortable juggling multiple priorities and excel at meeting deadlines … Bonus points if you’re passionate about process improvement and implementing efficiency initiatives!
What you’ll do :
- Technical accounting (e.g. business combinations, ASC 842, cash flow statement)
- Prepare month end close journal entries in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Identify and provide solutions for gaps in financial controls
- Monitor and analyze inventory and prepare monthly journal entries in partnership with our operations team
- Maintain prepaid and accrued expense schedules, appropriately amortizing and accruing expenses to the P&L
- Prepare appropriate audit support for transactions
- Assist with external audit and tax schedule preparation
- Support corporate Accounting and Finance team with ad-hoc analysis or projects
- Other duties as assigned
