Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Principal to lead the establishment of Epiphany Lutheran Classical School as we expand from Epiphany Lutheran Preschool. The ideal candidate will possess a strong love for Christ, strong leadership skills and a passion for fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth. The Principal will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the school, ensuring the implementation of effective curriculum development, and promoting a positive school culture. This role requires strategic planning and collaboration with staff, students, and the community to enhance educational outcomes. We would ask that all applicants be willing to become worshipping members of Epiphany Lutheran Church as a part of the position.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff performance to ensure high-quality education delivery.
- Develop and implement a Classical curriculum that meets the needs of all students while adhering to state standards.
- Manage school operations, including budgeting, resource allocation, and compliance with educational regulations.
- Lead fundraising efforts to support school programs and initiatives.
- Foster a positive learning environment by promoting student engagement and well-being.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to set strategic goals for the school’s growth and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents, community members, and stakeholders about school activities and student progress.
- Provide guidance and support for teachers in implementing best practices in education administration.
- Address student behavioral issues in a constructive manner while maintaining a safe school environment.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Education Administration or related field.
- Proven experience in supervising educational staff and managing school operations.
- Strong background in curriculum development with an emphasis on innovative teaching strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds and fostering inclusive practices.
- Knowledge of strategic planning processes within an educational setting.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
