As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance to include troubleshooting issues, repairing failures of production (CNC Machines) and facilities equipment, as well as ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing emergency or scheduled repairs of production equipment.
- Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders.
- Repair/replace defective parts.
- Examining form and texture of parts to determine imperfections.
- Performing housekeeping functions in the shop to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
- Performing facility repairs, as needed.
- Cleaning and lubricating machinery and equipment.
- Assisting in promoting and monitoring Safety First initiatives and goals throughout the organization.
- May require additional evening, weekend and/or holiday hours in an emergency.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- An associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school is highly preferred.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Forklift Certification is preferred.
- Minimum 3-years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Prior experience on Okuma, Mazak, Mori Seiki is strongly preferred.
