Job Summary : The Software Engineer will work in an infrastructure-focused team to design and develop infrastructure, automation tools, and pipelines. A core responsibility of this role is implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) while enhancing automation processes to support teams across the organization. The primary goal is to build scalable, robust systems that ensure long-term reliability and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests to ensure high quality.
- Implement secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using IaC tools like CDK.
- Collaborate with software teams to define and meet infrastructure and deployment needs.
- Build and maintain CI / CD pipelines and operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis.
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems, resolving infrastructure and deployment issues.
- Optimize infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure compliance and configuration standards using management tools.

As required by the Equal Pay Transparency Act, Epirus provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
For the state of California only, the range of starting pay for this role is :
135,000—$155,000 USD
