The Infant-Toddler Teacher position requires exceptional skills in creating a supportive and caring environment for young children. This includes demonstrating competency in effective teacher-child interactions, planning and implementing learning experiences that ensure effective curriculum implementation, and using assessment to promote children's progress across various standards.

An ability to exercise control and maintain appropriate classroom discipline, while also being able to develop consistent, stable, and supportive relationships with very young children, is essential. Strong grammar and communication skills are also necessary, as well as knowledge of applicable safety and abuse-reporting procedures. Confidentiality and effective communication skills are also required.

This role also involves maintaining accurate records, attending staff meetings and trainings, and sharing information with other staff members to better serve children and families. The ability to work effectively with diverse staff and families is critical, and a willingness to learn and continue personal education is expected.
