Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Infant-Toddler Teacher to join our team at Episcopal Children's Services. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that supports the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of young children.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing a culturally sensitive educational program that meets the unique needs of each child.
- Developing and implementing weekly digital lesson plans using Teaching Strategies Cloud.
- FOLLOWING THE APPROVED DAILY SCHEDULE TO IMPLEMENT TO FIDELITY THE DAILY LESSON PLANS FROM THE APPROVED CURRICULA.
- Providing a balanced daily routine that encourages play, exploration, and learning.
- Conducting daily health checks on each child and promoting a healthy lifestyle through classroom routines.
You will also be responsible for building strong relationships with each child, providing positive guidance techniques, and upholding the Early Childhood Services (ECS) discipline policy. Additionally, you will be required to maintain all federal, state, local, and accreditation standards, including those set forth by NAEYC, APPLE, ECS, DCF, and Early Head Start.
A key aspect of this role is your ability to communicate effectively with families, provide regular updates on children's progress, and involve parents in all aspects of the program.
