Hours: 6:30 AM - 7:00 AM
Pay: $52.45 - $61.69 per hour, depending on years of experience
Job Summary
The Respiratory Therapist performs respiratory therapy care in accordance with physician orders, established standards and policies, and in conformance with recognized respiratory care procedures. Examines patients who have pulmonary diseases, disorders, or complications conducting diagnostic and function tests to assess lung capacity and capability. Treats patients with oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, chest physiotherapy, and administer inhaled medications. Operates mechanical ventilators, BiPAP's, and other respiratory support devices. Conducts Pulmonary Function testing and Arterial Blood Gas sampling.

Requirements/Skills
- Associate of Science
- Graduated from an accredited 2 year program for Respiratory Care, valid NYS Respiratory Therapist license required.
- Must be BLS Certified, at least 1-3 years previous experience in an acute care facility.
- G71 FDNY certification required within 6 months.
- Acute Care Hospital experience preferred.
Salary : $52 - $62
