Culinary Supervisor
Episcopal Homes of Minnesota is a leader in senior care services for 130 years. We offer homes and services for people in Senior Apartments, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Care centers in the Midway area of St. Paul. Job Summary:
Coordinates and supervises work of employees to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards. Instructs and trains new employees as needed in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
Schedule and Rate
- Full-time. Monday - Friday 11:00am-7:30pm
- $22 - $25 Hourly. Experience Compensated

Essential Functions:
- Makes frequent inspections of all work, storage, and servicing areas to determine that regulations and directions governing Foodservice activities are followed including compliance with safety and sanitation.
- Develops, maintains and annually updates the departmental Mission/Vision/Goals and facility and department Annual Quality Plan.
- Evaluates employees on a regular basis according to prescribed guidelines; terminates employees according to standard procedures as required and provides orientation and job specific training to employees.
- Prepares work schedules, vacation schedules, etc. Maintains records of tardiness and absenteeism.
- Maintains facility specific staffing patterns to include: appropriate levels, replacement procedures, and assignments appropriate to qualifications.
- Ensures that portion control, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous Foodservice supervisory experience preferred.
- High School education or equivalency.
- Strong production and personnel skills desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a working knowledge and understanding for completion of assigned tasks by using acceptable techniques.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of Foodservice sanitation and food production and an understanding of special diets.
