Episcopal Homes of Minnesota is a leader in senior care services for 130 years. We offer homes and services for people in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Care centers in the Midway area of St. Paul. We complement our homes with a home care service, foundation, a management company and a robust campus life program that provides a fitness center, pool, theater, 1st class dining room, pub and special events.
Rate and Schedule:
- Starting from $15.92 - $17.59 Hourly
- Part time shifts available. Every other weekend required.
- 3pm - 8pm
- 6am - 230pm
Job Summary:
Performs tasks in production and service areas of Food service Department under direct supervision. Works in dish room, kitchen, and service areas as assigned.
Essential Functions:
- Assures dining areas are clean and sanitary, and properly set for meal service.
- Assists residents/tenants with meal selection and assists with delivering meals.
- Removes soiled plates and dining implements in a timely manner.
- Cleans and sanitizes dining areas and food production areas after meal service, and resets as dining rooms as required.
- May operate dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays and silverware.
- Assists in monitoring preparation and service area in sanitary condition.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to remain standing for most of working hours.
- Must be able to handle a variety of foods, soaps, detergents, and cleaning compounds.
- May be exposed to hot, humid work areas.
- May be exposed to caustic chemicals.
- Routine tasks may involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of eighth grade education.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Able to retain customer focus and to work with others.
Salary : $16 - $18
