Position Overview :
Lead and cultivate the music ministry of a diverse, multicultural suburban Episcopal congregation, working collaboratively with clergy and volunteer musicians to enhance worship through music.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and lead music for all worship services, with primary focus on Sunday service, special liturgies, and pastoral services (i.e.; weddings / funerals)
- Direct and rehearse adult choir through weekly evening rehearsals and Sunday warm-ups
- Serve as primary organist / pianist for all services
- Participate in weekly liturgical planning with Rector and monthly Worship Committee meetings
- Contribute to parish communications regarding music ministry
