Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines, milling machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD designs to set up machines accurately.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production processes.
- Work with tooling and fixtures to ensure precision in machining operations.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Operate forklifts as needed for material handling within the factory.
- Proven experience as a Machine Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks.
- Knowledge of tooling, welding techniques, and machining processes is a plus.
- Experience with logic controllers is beneficial for troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
