This role is ideal for those who are passionate about working with children and creating memorable experiences in a camp setting. The Camps position involves planning, organizing, and leading various activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth among campers. Candidates should be ready to foster a safe and engaging environment while ensuring that all participants have a fun and enriching experience.

Duties

• Plan and implement daily camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational programs.
• Supervise campers during activities to ensure safety and adherence to camp rules.
• Provide guidance and support to campers, helping them develop new skills and build confidence.
• Collaborate with fellow staff members to create a cohesive team environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the camp facilities and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and other staff regarding schedules, activities, and any concerns.
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Creative thinking skills for developing engaging camp programs.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• Previous experience in a camp or educational setting is a plus but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm for outdoor activities are essential.
