JOB SUMMARY
The Cyber Security Analyst plays a critical role in securing and enhancing Company's digital estate, including data, services, devices, and networks. Under the direction of IT Leadership, this position designs, implements, and manages cybersecurity solutions, with a particular focus on Security Operations and Administration of the platform solutions and partners we consider primary : Microsoft, CrowdStrike and Palo Alto. We plan to deploy Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) technologies in 2025 to further our Zero Trust strategy. The role requires expertise in security assessment, threat detection, security tool deployment and risk assessment to protect company from cybersecurity threats while aligning with business objectives and projects.
The Cyber Security Analyst will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deploy and maintain best-in-class security solutions, ensuring company meets current and future security standards. The position also administers our security tools, security awareness training, supports cloud and on-premises infrastructure, and provides support and consulting on mitigating vulnerabilities and enhancing network security.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Security Operations, Administration and Management
- Deploy, implement, administer and maintain cost-effective security solutions, from existing partners like Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, CyberArk, 1Password and more and help us adopt new SASE technologies, to protect digital estate.
- Collaborate with IT teams to monitor, administer and manage security tools (e.g., firewalls, cloud services, endpoint protection, and SASE solutions) aligned with industry best practices. Engage with security partners to deliver and monitor security solutions.
- Regularly evaluate security solutions to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Optimize deployments of kay partner security platforms and tools : Microsoft, Palo Alto and CrowdStrike currently top 3 - Assist security leaders with reviews and assessments of potential new partners as needed.
- Work with teams / partners to make network security architecture and tool changes, new site deployments, and expansion projects to ensure security requirements are met. Work closely with project teams to make all of company's digital estate secure by design and secure when deployed.
- Secure communications, data exchanges, and networked systems with business partners, ensuring robust supplier relationship security.
