What are the responsibilities and job description for the DevOps Application Engineer position at ePlus?
Responsible for Container Orchestration-Maintain Docker Build codebases, Jenkins CI / CD pipelines.
- Develop and Implement DevOps Automation-Able to reverse engineer and / or POC a new process.
- Lead ColdFusion 16 Upgrade-orchestrate with Dev teams to adjust build process, deployment, and code.
- Document Sapphire Software Application Dependencies-Create a software Bill of Materials (SBoM)
- Facilitate Application Telemetry-Implement software in containers to report usage metrics.
- Code deployment-Pilot a Kuberentes Deployment-Build and present a POC using container orchestration.
- Responsible for Sapphire Software Application Releases-Prepare, schedule, and monitor all releases of Sapphire Application code.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training plans as they apply to all DevOps Application tasks.
