Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Application Engineer at our Sugar Land, TX location.
Your tasks
- On-site commissioning, and training at the customer site including providing solutions for customer applications.
- Evaluation of the customer's application requirements. Creation of the necessary technical documentation, as well as advanced application-specific support and technical advice.
- Identify optimization potentials in our systems together with the research and development department.
- Create and deliver training programs for customers and internal employees and production of manuals, guides, and documentation as needed to support sales, customer service, and dealers.
- Conducting product demonstrations in webinars, road shows, and trade fairs
Qualifications
- Enthusiasm for 3D printing / additive manufacturing.
- Technical background in 3D printing / additive manufacturing technology.
- Studies in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics engineering, or similar.
- Very good knowledge of PC software and hardware.
- Good English knowledge. Other foreign languages are a plus.
- A high degree of customer orientation, independence, and initiative.
- A self-motivated person willing to grow within the company.
- Willingness to travel, up to 50%.
- Candidates must be based in the USA and possess legal authorization to work in the country.
