Position Title: Packaging Technician
Department: EPM Packaging
Reports To: General Manager
Job Mission:
We seek a motivated person with a positive attitude. You have an open mind, be honest, and willing to learn. EPM needs a detail orientated individual to fill the role of Packaging Technician at our EPM Packaging (EPM), Lexington, Nebraska facility. This position will have multiple responsibilities in assisting the General Manager in all aspects of the repackaging process. Accuracy is a must. Training will be provided.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Accuracy in all phases of the repackaging process.
2. Learn and be functional in all areas of the repackaging process.
3. Follow all guidelines and requirements in regards to pharmaceuticals for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), regulations as they apply to the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA), the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) and, all applicable state regulations.

Expected Job Results:
Ensure medications are repackaged and relabeled properly, safely and accurately, without loss of original stock. Ensure accuracy of production run checking PO for completeness and priority of orders when appropriate.
Physical Requirements Needed to Perform Job Duties:
Ability to lift up to 30-50 pounds; stand/sit for prolonged periods, frequent stooping and reaching overhead. Must be able to maintain focus.
Education, Skills and Experience Needed to Perform the Job Duties:
· Pharmacy technician experience, national certification preferred
· Knowledge of brand to generic pharmaceuticals
· Good math skills; must be able to compute quantities and prices from bulk product
· Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
· Work independently without constant supervision
· Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks
· Excellent written and verbal skills
· Good computer skills
· Problem solving skills
· Team oriented individual who enjoys working with others.
