Job Title: Director, Project Management - Launch Readiness
Location: Remote
A smaller, Oncology Biotech is seeking a Director of Project Management for their Program Management team as a part of their expansion. This critical role is seeking someone who will co-lead teams to plan and execute commercial product launches. This role requires expertise in market prep and lifecycle management in pharma/biotech. The ideal candidate will ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within scope, comply with regulations, and align with company goals.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Planning & Launch Execution:
- Lead a cross-functional, commercial launch team in market readiness across departments like Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Marketing.
- Create and manage launch plans to align strategies with corporate goals and meet timing requirements.
- Develop and maintain a launch dashboard for senior leadership visibility.
Project Leadership & Stakeholder Management:
- Facilitate project governance, ensuring senior leadership has visibility into project milestones and risks.
- Co-lead reviews of launch deliverables and align development and commercial teams.
- Serve as a key liaison between the Launch team and executive leadership.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management:
- Work with leads to identify risks, interdependencies, and develop mitigation plans.
- Implement project management best practices, tools, and coaching on project and launch management to improve team efficiency.
- Measure team performance, provide feedback, and use metrics to drive long-term improvements.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years project management in Pharma/Biotech
- Proven track record of leading NDA filings and commercial launches
- Expertise in project management methodologies
- Oncology experience - preferred
- PMP certification - preferred
Salary : $220,000 - $260,000
