Direct message the job poster from EPM ScientificMedical Affairs / HEOR Recruitment Consultant EPM Scientific Medical Science Liaison - CNS / Epilepsy (Southern Territory)About the RoleA growing pharmaceutical company is seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to support its CNS portfolio in the Southern territory, covering Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Tennessee. This field-based role is part of the Medical / Clinical Affairs team and will focus on scientific exchange, education, and research support. The MSL will engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and decision-makers to provide accurate and up-to-date medical information.Key Responsibilities : Develop and maintain strong relationships with CNS / Neurology experts to build advocacy and support for the company's CNS pipeline.Stay informed on the epilepsy treatment landscape, including current and emerging therapies and competitive intelligence.Deliver scientific presentations and participate in medical education at investigator meetings, advisory boards, conferences, and other venues.Collaborate with clinical teams and CRAs to enhance support for research sites and investigators.Respond to unsolicited medical inquiries and support investigator-sponsored study (ISS) submissions.Provide insights from the field to help shape medical strategy and product development initiatives.Engage with healthcare systems, payers, and regulatory bodies to support access and formulary discussions.Maintain clinical expertise through continuous education and active participation in relevant scientific workshops, conferences, and journal reviews.Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies in all scientific exchanges.Qualifications : Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, NP) with relevant clinical or industry experience.1-2 Years of MSL Experience highly preferred; will consider no previous MSL experience if you have a Neurology focused degree or extensive clinical research.Expertise in epilepsy, CNS, or neurology preferred.Prior pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.Strong understanding of regional healthcare systems and clinical decision-making.Ability to effectively communicate scientific data to diverse audiences.Willingness to travel 50% (domestic and international as needed).This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization with an innovative pipeline and contribute to the advancement of CNS therapies.
