Summary:
One of the fastest growing CDMO's in the pharmaceutical industry is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Process Chemistry Scientist to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing chemical processes for the production of APIs and intermediates. This role requires a strong background in organic chemistry, process development, and scale-up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize chemical processes for the production of APIs and intermediates.
- Conduct laboratory experiments to evaluate and improve process efficiency, yield, and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytical chemistry, quality control, and manufacturing.
- Scale-up processes from laboratory to pilot plant and production scale.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and process development activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering (Minimum of 3-5 years of experience) OR M.S. in related field with (6-8 years of industry experience)
- Strong knowledge of organic synthesis, reaction mechanisms, and process optimization.
- Experience with scale-up and technology transfer.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
