We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and ITAR regulations.

Job Summary:

The Quality Control Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes that align with ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance standards. This individual will oversee inspections, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold product integrity and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the company’s quality control department, ensuring all products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance programs, including documentation, audits, and training.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
  • Manage supplier quality and develop processes for incoming inspections.
  • Analyze quality data and trends to drive continuous improvement efforts and reduce non-conformance rates.
  • Maintain records and reports to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
  • Train and mentor staff in quality assurance best practices and use of equipment.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and customer service teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage customer complaints and non-conformance reports, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ITAR compliance requirements.
  • Experience leading audits and working with regulatory agencies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 certification processes.
