Reports to: Banquet Supervisor and Director of Banquets
Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Banquet set up person to join our team. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for setting up, stocking, and maintaining meeting rooms and event spaces, ensuring they are clean and presentable before and after events. This role requires flexibility, physical stamina, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
Set up, stock, and maintain meeting rooms and/or event spaces.
Break down and reset event spaces at the conclusion of events.
Pull banquet glassware, silverware, plate ware, and equipment as needed for events.
Clean, return, and maintain banquet equipment, furniture, plate ware, glassware, and silverware.
Ensure all event spaces are clean and presentable before and after events.
Keep idle spaces “guest ready” at all times.
Assist the groundcrew during light event periods.
Maintain inventory of all banquet equipment, plate ware, glassware, and silverware.
Maintain all outdoor storage spaces.
Receiving and store linen orders, and communicate linen needs to the Banquet Supervisor or Director.
Report all damaged or missing items.
Follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull and places objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, split shifts, and holidays as needed.
Must be able to multi-task.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
