Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a full-time, qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs. The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with special education teachers, general education teachers, related services teams, support staff, and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with special needs.
Responsibilities
Assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and speech disorders.
Evaluation, screening, and observation of students.
Writing evaluation reports, progress notes, and individual education plans.
Participation in individual education plan meetings with parents.
Communication and coordination of therapy and consultation services with parents, teachers, and administrators.
Other related tasks as required.
Qualifications
Master's Degree from ASHA accredited university.
Active state-level licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain NH licensure.
Experience working in schools or with children.
Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Creative approaches to caseload management and therapy strategies.
Knowledge and experience in the assessment and management of communication disorders in the 2.5 to 22-year-old population including experience with complex communication needs, autism, and AAC implementation.
