What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exercise Physiologist position at EPS ON THE GO II?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Exercise Physiologist develop health and wellness programs by analyzing patient’s medical history to determine the best possible exercise and fitness regimen. The Exercise Physiologist develops programs are designed to correlate decision making between patient and patient’s medical history that affect the future health or livelihood of patients.
The Exercise Physiologist will provide acute planning that will helps assess and implement exercise programs for preventing and managing chronic diseases and injuries, such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, cancer, and arthritis, and assist in restoring optimal physical function, and health and wellness.
Key Goal: Use knowledge base exercise, development programs to improve the health and overall quality of life of patients from aspects of body composition, flexibility, conditioning, immune/cardiovascular functionality, and physical shortcoming.
- Perform patients’ sessions in allotted times assigned by Senior Leadership
- Keep accurate records to ensure patients receive appropriate treatments
- Strong communication skills to develop good relationships with patients, authorized family of patients, and medical staff
- Adhere to structured development plans to seek relieve symptoms through the cellular effect of exercise on the body
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Work Days/Shift/Start Time:
10-20 Hours Per Week.
Work Days - Monday-Sunday
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- Bachelors degree required
- Exercise Science or Health related field
- BLS and First Aid required
- Pervious experience preferred but no required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- If required, must be able to assist patient with light lifting and sitting

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
