Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various warehouse operations, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. Duties
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move products safely within the facility.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring that all incoming and outgoing packages are processed accurately.
- Utilize RF scanners for inventory management and stock control to maintain accurate records of product quantities.
- Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory control processes to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and support overall warehouse efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks is advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control systems; experience with AS400 is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
