EXPERIENCE : Qualified Behavior Modification Professional" means
- a person with a minimum two (2) years of experience in designing, supervising, and implementing behavior modification services as one of the following :
A) An Assistant Behavior Analyst certified by the National Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst;
B) A Behavior Analyst certified by the National Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Certified Behavior Analyst;
C) A Licensed Clinical Social Worker, pursuant to Sections 4996- 4998.5 of the Business and Professions Code;
D) A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, pursuant to Sections 4980- 4984.7 of the Business and Professions Code;
E) A psychologist licensed by the California Board of Psychology or
F) A professional with California licensure, which permits the design of behavior modification intervention services.
General Job Responsibilities :
Must have availability to conduct in-person observation, supervision, and training for staff and residentsTeach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills through Applied Behavioral Analysis principlesAccurately record treatment dataDesigns and supervises individualized ABA programsRegularly analyzes session data and reviews session documentationUpdates skills acquisition and behavior reduction programs to ensure that they reflect each client’s development and progress towards identified goalsAssists in conducting initial assessments, ongoing assessments, and other necessary assessmentsFollows the direction of the Supervisor, Clinical Supervisors, and DirectorTracks direct and indirect client sessions to ensure that services are provided to the full extent of the authorization for each clientMaintains accurate documentation of all tasks that meet the requirement of regulatory agencies and is HIPAA compliantProvides ongoing performance feedback to Behavior Interventionists related to their strengths and areas of improvementWorks with Behavior Interventionists and Program Supervisors to set goals for professional developmentLeads trainingParticipates in meetings involving the clientMaintains a clean, safe, and organized work and therapeutic environmentAbides by the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior AnalystsUtilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clientsMaintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainingsMaintain confidentiality, adhere to HIPAA, and follow BACB Code of EthicsRequirements :
