Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various types of heavy equipment. This role involves working on construction and maintenance projects where you will be responsible for operating machinery, assisting with site preparation, and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment including water trucks, dump trucks, graders, and loaders.
- Perform digging and building tasks as required for construction projects.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in the transportation of materials and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment, tankers, graders, and loaders.
- Ability to dig effectively and build structures as needed for various projects.
- Familiarity with dump truck operations is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within a team environment.
