Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with various hand and power tools. This role involves assisting in the assembly and fabrication of products, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate hand tools and power tools to assemble components and fabricate products.
- Work on the assembly line, ensuring that all parts are assembled correctly and efficiently.
- Assist in the movement of materials within the warehouse and factory setting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks in the workplace.
Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Experience with assembly processes, including fabricating components as required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- A willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing tasks as needed.
