Job Description
We have an exciting new position in our warehouse for a Receiving Associate. In this role, you will ensure all products are processed and documented correctly, maintaining flow of inventory and supporting overall warehouse operations.
THE ROLE
- RECEIVE SHIPMENTS : Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. Check for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
- PREPARE SHIPMENTS : Pack and label products according to company standards and shipping requirements. Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipments.
- INVENTORY MANAGEMENT : Update inventory records and systems with received and shipped goods. Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- DOCUMENTATION : Complete shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
- WAREHOUSE ORGANIZATION : Maintain a clean and organized work area. Properly store products and manage space within the warehouse.
- EQUIPMENT OPERATION : Use warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks,
- and clamp trucks to move products safely.
- COMMUNICATION : Coordinate with other departments to resolve shipping and receiving issues. Communicate effectively and team members and supervisors.
