Epsilon Systems is seeking a full-time, Pricing/Data Analyst I to support growth in DOD, Federal Civilian, and commercial markets by supporting the timely submission of high quality, competitively priced, RFP-compliant, and compelling proposals. This position will report to the Director of Corporate Finance and will work in collaboration with BD, capture, and proposal teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize Excel proficiency to perform detailed analyses, manage data, and develop accurate pricing documentation for large-scale agency acquisitions involving a range of supplies and services.
Successful candidate will report to the Finance Department and work collaboratively with Business Development, Contracts, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to capture all costs and provide the customer with a competitive advantage.
Contribute to all aspects of the pricing volume development efforts and development of comprehensive cost models tailored to the requirements of Federal solicitations.
Contribute to the evaluation of price/cost volume responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes (RFPs/RFQs), analyzing contract requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to ensure compliance with RFP requirements and corporate policies.
Develop and support Pricing Models, including preparing cost estimates and presentations.
Serve as the primary cost/price analyst for complex or sensitive contracts, conducting in-depth modeling to support the evaluation of pricing strategies and cost objectives.
This position will work on proposal pricing that covers a broad spectrum of business areas and a diverse customer base. The proposal pricing can be competitive or sole source and include task orders, fixed price, IDIQ, T&M, and Cost-Type contracts.
Work closely with multiple groups (Contracts, Finance, Business Development and Purchasing) to ensure accuracy and coordination of pricing.
Participate in both short-term and long-term teams to address specific, unique, or complex pricing issues within the acquisition lifecycle.
There will often be simultaneous proposals occurring. This individual must be able to handle the complexity of tracking, developing, and maintaining schedules while working on simultaneous proposals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
** This position requires some flexibility of schedule and may occasionally work hours beyond a standard workday / week.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related field and or up to 4 years (0-4) work related experience in a related field.
Must have in-depth knowledge of MS Excel.
Must have the ability to lead pricing review meetings with company leadership
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and lead others in duties.
Must have the ability to work as an individual and on a team.
Must have flexibility to work non-traditional hours when necessary in an often stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
Must have an excellent customer service experience, positive attitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills; must be able to pay attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to analyze trends, perform competitive analysis, interpret RFP data, and develop Price to Win strategies.
Ability to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of pricing concepts and principles to include direct and indirect rate structure and the build-up of fully burdened labor rates.
Pay Range:
The Pay Range for this role is $80,000- $90,000 per year. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
