Epsilon C5I Inc. (www.epsilonsystems.com / c5i), focused on software development and systems engineering for complex command, control, intelligence and combat systems, is seeking a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer I, with at least 6 years' experience in Software Quality Assurance for DoD Programs, for work in San Diego, CA.
Summary :
The Senior Software QA Engineer I will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through driving adherence to documented policy and quality assurance practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Software Developers, Product Managers, and Systems Engineers, to audit all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle, guaranteeing they are effectively executed and documented.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed knowledge of program requirements and prepare responsive quality plans, procedures, schedules and resource allocations to assure optimum quality support
- Review engineering / test documentation and provide input to assure that appropriate quality requirements are addressed
- Ensure adherence to formalized quality system processes, procedures and work instructions
- Participate in and lead efforts to gather, organize, monitor, analyze and report on test processes and procedures
- Provide ongoing quality system support to include performing internal audits, ensuring implementation of root cause corrective actions
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure that testing is aligned with project goals.
- Report on test execution status, key quality metrics, and defect metrics to ensure transparency and progress tracking.

Pay Range :
The pay range for this role is $135,000 To $165,000 Annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
