Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking System Architect to support the Integrated Command and Display System (ICADS) program by providing expert technical design advice to government stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture of mission-critical systems, ensuring alignment with program objectives, and driving innovation and efficiency in system design.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as a technical advisor to government stakeholders, providing guidance on system design, architecture, and integration strategies for the ICADS program.Develop and refine system architecture to meet operational, technical, and security requirements while ensuring scalability and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and program managers, to ensure design solutions align with overall program goals.Review, analyze, and evaluate technical documentation, including requirements specifications, system designs, and test plans, to provide actionable recommendations.Identify potential risks in system architecture and propose mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure project success.Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend their application to enhance ICADS system performance and capability.Facilitate communication between government and contractor teams to ensure a unified understanding of system requirements and design decisions.Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards, policies, and best practices in system design and development.Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Extensive experience in system architecture and design within DoD or government programs, preferably supporting command-and-control or mission-critical systems.Proven ability to develop and communicate complex system architectures effectively to diverse audiences.Strong understanding of DoD acquisition processes, standards, and security frameworks.Familiarity with ICADS or similar integrated systems used in operational environments.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.Applicant Must have an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI accessPreferred Qualifications :
Master's degree in a related field or professional certifications (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF, or equivalent).Experience with system integration and interoperability across multiple platforms.Knowledge of advanced technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, and artificial intelligence as applied to defense systems.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both government and contractor teams.Pay Range :
The pay range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 annually. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Regular communication (hearing / speaking).Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.Prolonged use of computer (typing / keyboarding).Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, walk, and may occasionally lift and move at least 25 pounds.Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required.
